Sharity Malaysia is a concept based on sharing and caring for communities. At MTE SDG International Innovation Awards, we aspire to bridge organisations and communities, to share our challenges, knowledge, experiences, and resources, and form connections to empower and help build communities better.
Sharity Malaysia will provide a universal vision, and increase the responsibility and goals for accomplishing human development. We are reminding each other that we all have a responsibility and role to play, that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

The MTE 2021: SDG International Innovation Awards (SDGIIA) is the first in the region focused on recognizing innovations, initiatives, programmes and ideas which contribute to sustainability, eradicating poverty, improving well-being, protecting our planet, and building peace and prosperity.
Governments play a key role in achieving the SDGs through setting and implementing policy frameworks, standards and regulations. Colleges and universities are where leaders of the future are molded – the formation of global citizenship. The private sector has widely embraced goals and targets to advance corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
