A Two-Day Art Workshop / Competition for Teachers and Students

CBSE launches 'Chitram'- A Two days' Online Art Workshop for Teachers and Competition for Students on 8th & 9th of April 2021. It is being hosted by Delhi Public School Nacharam, Secunderabad.

The objective of the event is to delve deep into the guidelines of Art Integration as the NEP 2020 and to view art education as a cross-curricular pedagogical approach that utilizes various aspects and forms of Art & Culture as the basis for learning of concepts across subjects. This pedagogical approach needs to be embedded in the classroom transactions for;

* Promoting experiential learning
* Imbibing the Indian ethos through integration of Indian Art & Culture in the teaching and learning process
* Strengthening the linkage between education and culture

Only the students who have already registered will be permitted to participate in the competition and access the link for uploading their work of art.

Spot registration is available for only those students who wish to attend the Hands-on demonstration Workshops by renowned artists on 9th April from 9.00 am to 10.30 am and can visit the Exhibition Hall from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm to view the artistic displays of the participants.
